Yeah you know what I love about the movie that it really kind of takes its time to show who this character is and kind of all the aspects of his life and and Celia Weston who plays my mother is an amazing actress and those scenes are some of the most deranged scenes in the whole movie but in a way but their also kind of oddly sweet in a strange way and I think that’s kind of a good analogy for the whole movie. |

No she uh you know she took great joy in playing a completely unlikable character and I think we all did in a lot of ways in this movie you know uhm. To me, I know as a writer in dealing with studios a lot, the question they ask is why is this character likeable, what do we like about this character? And I always think that’s such a strange question, why do you need to like, why do you need to like them, you just need to like watching them. You just need to find them interesting to watch you know. You don’t like The Joker in The Dark Knight but that’s the part you liking watching the most you know so to me it’s a weird question and this movie truly shows that you can have a lot of unlikable characters and still be very entertaining. |

Yeah, I think its a lot of, I don’t this he really is, I think its denial to a degree I think deep down this guy know exactly what’s what but yeah dedicational is probably a good word for it also uhm yeah this guy is a very you know not in a good place mentally but at the end he’s definitely a little happier then he is at the beginning and that’s all you really need. |
