16MM ELMO TRF, SILENT DRAMA ABOUT WOLVES PLAGUING CATTLE RANCHERS IN DESERT, STARRING RIN-TIN-TIN, NON SEQUITUR HAPPY ENDING ;Ranchers talking, 'wolf' perches on branch of Joshua tree, cattle on range, wolves lying in shade, wolves run off ;Wolves cause cattle to stampede, wolves surround lone cow, ranchers riding off, firing, wolves run away, ranchers chase wolf ;Wolf gives them the slip by climbing a Joshua tree, the chase resumes (this looks rather silly), wolf leaps over cliff ;Good place for the film to break, wolf lying snapping its jaws, wolfs paw caught in yucca, wolf licking his wounded paw ;Wolf limps over to his mate and lies down beside her, other wolves watch, wounded wolf crawling in chaparral ;Wounded wolf falls over ledge, rancher approaches prone wolf, wolf snaps at rancher, rancher catches wolf and carries it ;Wolf in den with pups, rancher carries wolf into cabin and muzzles it, then tends its wound and feeds it ;Rancher visits girlfriend with his pet wolf Lobo, Lobo startles horses, man aims gun at Lobo but rancher intervenes ;Man tries to disguise Lobo by putting a fake beard on him....downhearted Lobo follows them thru town ;Horses outside saloon run away when Lobo passes, they all go into general store sort of place, suspicious man watches Lobo ;More wackiness as man falls off horse when Lobo comes out, Lobo takes off his disguise, Lobo barks ;Lobo's owner stops man from shooting Lobo, man throws him against the wall, Lobo attacks him, owner carries Lobo away ;NX house during storm, couple looking at rock samples, dogs tail wagging, girlfriend's father peeks in at them ;Man bursts in from storm, couple kissing, they pretend to be reading book when man checks up on them ;Man pulls a kitten out of his vest and offers it to Lobo, man catches couple kissing, woman fools man into letting Lobo kiss him ;Father returns to find his hand asking his daughter for a kiss, father kicks them out, pack donkey left standing out in the storm ;Villain spying on Lobo & his owner, couple kissing goodbye in storm, villain follows man leading donkey away in storm ;Lobo goes to visit his mate, man drops his gun, continues his journey in the storm, surveyor literally stakes his claim ;Villain chats with surveyor, notices his empty holster, claim sign, men look at each other awkwardly, villain takes down sign ;Man clenches his fist, villain shoots him, Lobo attacks villain, man shoots Lobo who rolls over & plays dead ;Villain rides away in sandstorm, Lobo rouses his master, man puts message on canteen and sends Lobo to find help ;Lobo hides from riders, Lobo sees villain chatting with girlfriend, Lobo slides down ramp, Lobo takes off his boots ;Nice estb Wild West town, Lobo pounces on villain from rooftop, people come out to see man being attacked by dog ;As one, a crowd of onlookers approaches, men firing, woman finds canteen, she doesn't notice the message and hands it to villain ;NX ranch house, Lobo hops over fence, peeks in window, woman looks out window, man looks up from newspaper ;Man shoots thru window at Lobo, Lobo fills canteen from puddle, villain dismounts and climbs among rocks; Wounded surveyor calls for help, villain finds cave where he's hiding, men struggle in cave, Lobo runs to the rescue ;Lobo attacks villain for the third time, gun falls on ground, man flings Lobo away, villain flees ;Villain stumbles into search party, Lobo watches them from ledge, Lobo running, riders follow, Lobo leaps across chasm ;Woman dismounts and finds wounded man, villain walks up to them and struggles with woman and rides away with her ;Lobo howls, wolf pack runs to his aid, woman falls off horse, woman hugs Lobo, pack chasing rider, horse falls ;And once again Lobo's attacking this guy, wolves discreetly finish him off behind shrub, Lobo sits on boulder and howls ;Couple sitting in boat on lake, and its Lobo and his mate sitting at the stern, the puppies are in a floating dishpan...
