Helping first time buyers ; Immigration, foreign work permits, jobs leaving country, bringing our standards down to stay competitive, court reform ;Energy, dependence on foreign sources of oil like his ugly inbred pals in Saudi Arabia, federal de-regulation, tax breaks ;Foreign trade, domestic productivity, 'a bold plan for broadband'-I like to imagine Bush thought of that himself, Bush winding down ;Bush finishes, shaking hands & stuff ;MS Rumsfeld talking about Iraqi self-government, press conf ; Rumsfeld grins, 'You know I know there are things I don't know and some of those things you've been asking about I know I don't know' ;No, he really says that, all in one smooth uninflected sentence! ;Says we can't blame an act of violence in one country on another country (since when!), talks about civilians killed in Iraq ;Barely audible unseen reporter asks if response to 9/11 should have been different, risk of terrorism has increased in wake of war ;Rumsfeld freaks out, says it would have been daft not to respond to 9/11, unseen reporter counters that isn't answering his question ;'And I answered it my way and you asked it your way!' with that creepy grin, and he's out of here! Slippery devil; Brief microphone unattended, old gentleman approaches mic & strains to hear question ;Man describes Richard Clark's accusations & how they relate to 9/11 commission, mentions Rice before commission ;Gentleman describes purpose of commission: to clarify the events of 9/11/01 & to increase security ; Gentleman happy with testimonials, bipartisanship...what did Carlin say about bipartisanship? Whatever is was, it was funny ;Brief security guards around limo, secret service men. Colin Powell outdoor press conf, Rice can't testify B.S. ;Is this that trouble-maker Richard Clark at 9/11 hearings...(typical strident female V/O), copy of 'Against All Enemies' ;Bush making 'what, me worry?' kind of gesture, ruins of WTC, Clark sort of smiling enters bldg, on 'Meet the Press' ;Rice in some little meeting, Bush walking with Rice, Track Rice looking alternately amiable & uncomfortable, walking down corridor; Rumsfeld saying Rice can't testify...Bush in oval office doing paperwork! Old footage of Bin laden w/rifle (the beard ain't grey) ;
