Geoprge talks with interviewer about a project he took on to raise money for China Village (at the World's Fair). He laughingly explains he was enthusiastic about it and raised money, not as much as he expected. He got to know and realize from the Fair what a "large huge society this world is". He states he feels that having the exhibit made a difference in people's attitude towards China and that people didn't realize there was a war going on there.

Interview continues. George states they always felt under pressure about their exhibit because Japan had so much money and had planned their participation where the Chinese exhibit was publicly financed and was a volunteer job - there was no money set aside to do the job.
