You know doing stage stuff there’s something very elemental about it about an actor and it’s a wonderful experience. Its hard work but if for me it’s the ideal cocktail. |

In: 15.27.00 Out: 15.27.54 Sound Bite: Hugh Jackman I can say that every point in my career that I have been turning down heaps of good scripts but right at the moment I’m not complaining at all but better scripts are coming my way which is a good sign. Buts it’s hard to say no to them when they come, it is, because there’s not a lot of great scripts around and this is one of those movies and one of those scripts that just, when I read it I was like this is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. This is so different and its, there’s such a great, like the secret to the end of this movie I don’t think anyone’s gonna see coming and I think more people have been, I think the message out of Hollywood over the last couple of years is audiences want something fresh, they want a reason to go to the movies. It’s not a given that they’re going to go and see everything, So I think this movies one of those. - |

In: 15.27.59 Out: 15.28.32 Sound Bite: Hugh Jackman Well I think most magicians have a slight obsessive nature because most kids at some point are given a magic box to play with you know for a week, to weeks they play with it to try and get a magic trick but what takes someone beyond that to spend the next six years largely locked in a bathroom in front of a mirror practicing there slight of hand. It really that’s an interesting thing and I think both these characters, it’s a great study and obsession for what it can do to you. |
