In: 13.55.24 Out: 13.55.47 Sound Bite: Dominic Cooper Yeah its been wonderful actually, that opened a lot of doors doing history boys, it was kind of a great thing, a great first film feature film to show the work. (talks) that was meant to be on stage for three months and it ended up being three years of our lives so (talks) it did really and we ? as people who stayed in touch with one another which is great as well. |

In: 13.55.56 Out: 13.56.35 Sound Bite: Dominic Cooper Its incredible, its an incredible time of change uhm and to play a character within that time of change who influenced politics very much and influenced how gave many more people the opportunity to vote uh it was very very exciting to be involved with uhm and then at the heart of that time you’ve got this incredible woman who no one really knew much about uhm but and after reading the book you cant believe no one knew much about because she had such a layered different traumatic life that kind of fascinating. |

In: 13.56.49 Out: 13.57.10 Sound Bite: Dominic Cooper Yeah certainly people public persona was and what they had to, what there public display was and how they had to behave in front of the public and how she influenced the public like I said she was a celebrity of the 18th Century really which I certainly thought was a very modern concept it obviously existed then. |

In: 13.57.13 Out: 13.57.31 Sound Bite: Dominic Cooper I mean massively I find it incredible the public have always needed some sort of iconic figure to follow whether its politics or fashion but we always seem desperate to have a figure head who we think is influencing us in the right way. |

In: 13.57.42 Out: 13.59.13 Sound Bite: Dominic Cooper Yeah I think it happened more than we ever realized, people were put forced in situations of marriage and then kind of stuck with it (talks) yeah no it absolutely is, its something that Beth says in the film uhm I don’t know why who knows why that is, its certainly something to do with the frustration of not giving an heir and again back to that uhm public persona, he was beginning to feel humiliated that he could not produce a son an heir to himself and I think that made him fall more and more out of love with her. She was getting involved with someone she didn’t know and that was that’s how it worked. It sounds terrifying getting thrown into a marriage something---(talks) No and she’s 18 years old so its all kind of very, very exciting uhm and that’s why its so wonderful to play the character who completely opposes that an officer you know things in the relationship that should be, the passion, the warmth, and the care and the excitement of that relationship was uhm and to understand why did she ? that man, why did she have an affair with this person was it only that or was it very, she enjoyed his political, how he was politically quite a showman and ? sort of very charming possibly quite an arrogant man. |
