Well I knew, ok this is what I knew, you know I see actors around, there aren’t that many of them but I think, sometimes I see someone and I’ll think I think you do this the way I do, I like just have a feeling we’d work well together. You just like around, I just kind of get that feeling sometimes. Of course I thought that about Jeff but I had met him once before, I had met him at the Mona Lisa Smile premiere and I was like this baby actress and I had a couple of glasses of champagne and I was like I’m going to say hi to Jeff Bridges and his nephew was in the movie which is why he was there and I just said I like, you know I really love your movies and he said we’re going to work together one day. And then here we are and and it was like that, I mean it was like I think we do work very similarly, I think we just, we kind of got there and just went ok I’m ready for anything, are you ready for anything and then we just, we’re playing people with big hearts and I think we are people with big hearts and we just, it just, we just kind of got down into it and lived it.

It’s interesting because I think there’s a real kind of marked difference, you know I think about Secretary or Sherry Baby and those you know I made both of those movies in my 20’s and I’m very proud of them but I feel like there, there’s like a real fierceness about both those women, even though in Secretary I was playing somebody very shy still she was like a fierce powerful kind of wild presence uh and same with Sherry in Sherry Baby. Gene I just think is much more kind of human, I feel very proud of it because in a way I feel like its more grown up work in away, think she’s its not that she’s making wrong choices, I mean look we’re humans and we all do that, I don’t think it’s a mistake for her to be with them, I think that they, I think they love each other, I don’t think they can be together. (talks) Jeff thinks they can. If you interview him he’ll say in the sequel they end up together and it’s called crazy lungs, that’s what he’s been saying at the Q & A’s. But I don’t know, I don’t see how, I wish they could, I love them, I love them together. But I think, I mean the movie very clearly says this, I mean I think they’re loving each other more by not being together.
