Men and black to yeah Kids uh I think its been a blessing not having wanted to be an actor growing up cause I don’t have any, I still don’t have any particular idea on what it is I have to do to make success or my dream come true so I kind of go to project to project with what just sort of catches my attention and this was clearly a no brainer its Robert and Quentin it was a really cool movie and an awesome part and I got to be kickass and bad ass and you know get to do that dialogue as well. It was really, really cool I feel very lucky and blessed that I’ve been welcomed into that family. |

Well I had, I met him on Sin City he actually directed one of the pieces with Clive Owen and Benico Del Toro and uh that was it, he was there while I was shooting but he didn’t direct any of my stuff and I had become friends with him there we were hanging out in Austin. It was really, really cool, he’s an amazing man and so you know I would just see him every once in a while party here and there. But when this came up I flew down, I auditioned twice, I made sure this was gonna happen, this was not handed to me through any type of friendship Quentin’s very rigorous and I really appreciated that cause when I was there I knew I was ready to be working, it was defiantly not something that anybody would take for granted that they would walk through. I’ve defiantly been part of many of film where someone just walked through there performance and that’s just something that doesn’t happen on a Quentin Tarantino set. |

Yeah and also because he has a true passion for acting and for this craft like he really is no joke, he’s a huge fan of movies and he would drop dead for us before he put out something that would not be, would be something that he wouldn’t wanna watch. Like he has to have integrity behind it and that really draws everybody, its really cool to be a part of that. He fans of the people that he works like I mean he could go off on Kurt Russell to the point where Kurt’s its ridiculous to the point where Kurt’s like alright dude enough. You know like it can get that bad and at the same time Kurt’s sitting there going I think you’re one of the finest directors of all time, like you really have it down. I’ve worked on films since before you were born and I can tell you hands down that you are one of the best directors I’ve ever worked with. That’s an amazing thing to be able to share so when you having that type of mutual respect and talent happening its pretty phenomenal I thin audiences are going to be very very excited because sometimes these Grindhouse movies can be hit or miss and these are defiantly the best of the bunch. |
