The first question: how do I feel about being here? Sorry, I have to answer in English, everyone has to. I am extremely excited and happy to be here with Woody and Rebecca and everyone else and I am very very happy and proud to be part of this movie and very grateful to woody for giving me this opportunity to be part of it and I think this is my fifth time here and I have a lot of good memories from the festival so I'm happy to be back. And I'm sorry but I didn't get the other question.
(Moderator repeats 2nd question: What was it like speaking Spanish with Javier Bardem) We have to go back and forth from the Spanish to English because Javier's character constantly gets mad at me for not speaking English in front of people who only speak English so I love that woody gave us that freedom to go back and forth in both languages and improvise and just be able to get the message across of what the character wanted to say but using the words that the characters would use in that moment and he really gave us a lot of freedom in both languages. But in English I was too afraid of changing anything. You don't change a Woody Allen line. |
